Wes Farno is the founder of 29:11 Strategies. 29:11 is focused on guiding clients through the murky confluence of politics and policy. Wes is a heavily involved in the recruitment of candidates and the development and implementation of campaign plans, helping those eager to serve in public office realize their goals. His desire is to help clients navigate state legislatures and governors’ offices to achieve their desired outcomes. His true passion is developing relationships on all levels and nurturing a network of public affairs professionals across the country to successfully advocate for each client’s position.
Prior to starting 29:11 Strategies, Wes served as Executive Vice President of Advocacy Group Inc., focusing on developing high impact grasstops, grassroots and earned media campaigns. Wes has been successful in creating and developing winning mail, television and radio strategies. Under his direction, campaigns have been successful in helping to elect numerous individuals to legislative bodies.
Wes has served as a distinguished member of the firm JSN Associates in Dayton, Ohio. During his tenure with JSN, Wes worked alongside many Washington D.C. based public affairs firms, as a Project Coordinator in Ohio. He has worked on over 130 different issue advocacy campaigns ranging across all spectrums of public policy.
Wes currently resides in a quintessential village of 2,800 people forty-five miles north of Dayton, Ohio with his beautiful wife Angie. A father of four, he spends much of his time at the baseball diamond in the summer, the football field in the fall and the basketball court in the winter. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Minster Youth Baseball and Softball Organizations and serves as Chairman of the Auglaize County Republican Party. He is also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Athletic Boosters, Academic Boosters, and the Band Boosters in Minster, Ohio.
Graduating from The Ohio State University in Spring 2016, Brandon obtained his BA in History. Throughout his schooling, he had developed a passion for history and political science and a desire to engage in public policy. Brandon has been a welcome presence to the 29:11 Strategies team.
Brandon is involved in several different facets of our firm. When he is not researching legislation or keeping us organized, he enjoys playing soccer in a local league. Brandon has been able to inject our company with a new sense of youthfulness and a millennial perspective. We are glad to have him on board!
